Did Apple really skip iPhone 9 ?

Apple has already launched iPhone 8 and 8 plus just a few days before and again coming with a new phone named as iPhone X whose tagline says Welcome To The Future.
Wait, where is iPhone 9 ??? Did the team really miss/skip that? Reason unknown.

The outer frame is made of Polished Stainless Steel which reinforces water resistant all glass design.

                                The phone comes with the screen size of 5.8 inches(1125 X 2436 pixels) and now you can get Fast and Wireless Charging as well. Thanks to all glass design.

                     Apple confirmed that there will be no finger print scanner, instead of that the phone comes with an advanced feature known as Face Unlock System which Apple says Face ID.Also, the company claims it is very secure and improved.There will be no HOME Button, just a single Swipe takes you to the home screen.
                           The true depth camera system uses a Dot Projector and Infrared Camera making an extraordinary depth sensing technology which allows the user to unlock the phone at a glance.It stores the unique geometry of users face with over 30000 invisible dots which is analyzed by an advanced new A11 Bionic Processor.So now your phone is going to recognize you perfectly. No matter you wear cap, sunglass or grow the beard, it accepts the changes in your face. It works even in the dark.
